Class members who applied for Outbound Selector positions with Sysco West Coast Florida and were allegedly affected by the company’s hiring practices are eligible to participate in the settlement. To receive compensation and be considered for a job offer, affected applicants must complete and submit both a Verification & Employment Interest Form and a Release Form to the Settlement Administrator by September 5, 2024. These documents can be mailed using the provided postage-paid envelope or submitted electronically as PDF files or photographs to SyscoWCFLSettlement@cptgroup. The forms require applicants to provide contact information, a Social Security Number or Individual Tax Identification Number for tax purposes, and to indicate whether they are interested in employment as an Outbound Selector.
Applicants will receive a minimum payment of $1,406. 58 (minus legally required deductions), though the exact amount may vary based on individual circumstances. Those who do not submit the required forms by September 5, 2024, will forfeit their eligibility for settlement payments and will not be considered for job opportunities. By signing the Release Form, applicants agree not to pursue further legal action against Sysco regarding the alleged violations of Executive Order 11246 related to the company’s applicant selection procedures.
